The Reds winger netted in Wednesday’s 5-0 demolition of Porto to bring up his 30th goal of a stunning debut season at Anfield.
Salah became just the 13th player in Liverpool history to achieve such a feat and the first since Luis Suarez four years ago.
Despite perhaps exceeding expectations at Anfield since his £36.9m switch from Roma in the summer, the 25-year-old wideman has no plans to take his foot off the gas for Jurgen Klopp’s adventurous attacking outfit.
Liverpool are currently in Marbella enjoying some warm weather training and speaking to the club’s official website in the south of Spain, Salah has said is targeting more success in front of goal.
He said: “It is a great feeling to have scored 30 goals in a first season at a club like Liverpool.
“It’s something huge, so I am very happy about it – but I have to carry on and keep looking forward to score many more goals.
“In my mind I am always trying to improve and I’m doing it every single day. Every day I look at myself and try to improve myself all the time.
“I am happy at the moment, I feel good, and that’s the most important thing – and 100 per cent, there is still more to come.”
Salah brought up his 30-goal haul in just 36 Liverpool appearances and only George Allan achieved it faster for the Reds 121 years ago.
Salah is now seven away from beating Robbie Fowler’s tally for most Liverpool goals in a single season in the Premier League era.
Only three players in the last 26 years of Premier League football have managed to reach 30 goals for Liverpool in the same season, with Fowler’s record 36-goal total coming back in 1996.
